Farmers collect water hyacinth daily from natural lakes nearby Tonle Sap. All collected water hyacinths were put in the small boat and brought back to landing sites on the lake bank. Children sometimes help parents in drying water hyacinths. Women take dry water hyacinths to produce hand bags, mats, hammocks, chairs, etc. All products have been sold in the markets in Siem Reap Province and some products have been exported to Japan.
